Go friggin figure....

Guys have a higher insurance rate b/c we get caught driving fast or more "reclessly" than women but its the women that are not caught when they are putting on make up or chating on the phone or both at one when they cut others off in their red vw jetta. That and I have never met a girl besides my g/f that can park a vehicle in one try or back it up. My sister hit another car that was parked while trying to pull in next to it and creased the rear door. Then she did not tell my mom or day she did it.

I think hte insurance rate "statistics" are unfair and though not all women are bad drivers many and most are and yes there are bad male drivers too but I think we are gettign ripped off in the long run.

exactly!!!

Now i know how even though i think I can drive I probably really cant, especially compared to an adult, obviously because they have more experience than me. But take a look at 98% of the people I go to school with, and you'll see a HUGE difference. The insurance companies "statistics" are a bunch of crap, teenage males get ripped off the most. My insrance rates ran 3 grand for my first year...and that was with a SPOTLESS record. They just went down a few months ago since my record stayed clean for the year.

If I take a look at the other 98% of the folks you go to school with, will they be able to splice a decent sentence together? :laugh3: Just Kidding

When the stupid things people do in cars result in an accident or a speeding ticket, they show up on your driving record. The last I checked, no one got gigged for talking on a cell phone or putting on makeup. It's not a valid argument.

It is not how well you believe that you drive that matters, it is how good you are at avoiding situations which lead to driving incidents.

It would be like talking to a bunch of Yoda's that speak ebonics with a heavy southern accent.

Agreed. And like I said in a previous post when i'm driving anywhere, or even riding with a friend somewhere, i'm always looking out for the other guy, and watching to make sure they don't do something stupid like pull out infront of me or something.....which is why I wait a couple of seconds when the light turns green to make sure people don't run it.

just a quick update to those who were interested. Adjuster went and looked at my Jeep Tuesday, but didn't send the body shop an estimate. Still no estimate today (not even our claim representative we've been dealing with has an estimate), however, they did today accept liability for the accident. And after a little argueing, they took over responsibility of the rental car we got a week ago, and will keep paying for that untill the work is completed to my satisfaction on my Jeep. Meanwhile we still got that god awful Taurus parked where my Jeep used to be, and i'm still in the KJ...which has had the living crap beat out of it by my mom, and it looks like i'll be doing some work to it this weekend...if it aint one Jeep its another suckin my money away.

Did get some pics up on cardomain: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/770214/1
