Outline is worst and color/shading is cake. Unless your artist bounces around and goes over same place time an time again. Then you get raw. Don't take anything. Man up. If you have to take something you don't need the ink.
Take care of you ink! And shave area BEFORE you go in.
What to expect? Depend on your artist and your hygeine(sp?). If you go to a crap artist and don't take care of it. Expect lots if money time and aggravation spent trying to 'fix' it. Do it right and pay for good work. If you get a good deal be sure to tip nice. That'll come back and help out down the road.
X2 and depending on what you decide to "take", before you get your work done, can have adverse affects on the finished product (i.e. stuff that will thin your blood, can cause the ink to bleed out faster than the artist can apply it). Again, just man up and get the tat done "sober".
