Actually the whole "visible on neck and hands" was for people enlisting with tats already. Thats what got gmy buddy kicked out. When they realeased the new reg on tats being visible on the neck and hands he went out and got his throat done. The reason he got the boot for it was because the reg stated that you already had to have the tat when you joined, not that you could go out and get one there when you were already in.

Yea, I'm glad somebody finally said something. Tattoos will get you no where in life, they are for low lifes and people that will never achieve anything.

Getting ink has been fun for me! I have been inked all over the world and I enjoyed every bit of it!! Used to be that Sailors/Marines and Criminals only got tats but seems like every wanabe is getting inked cuz it has that cool factor.......... you know " I am a baddass, stay out of my way" theme!! When you have been inked in places like Australia, Japan, Singapore or Hong Kong maybe you can be cool !!

Thats cool that you have got work done all over the world but I dont agree its all about the "cool factor", for alot of people its a hobbie to collect artwork. I guess just cuz I got my work done in my home state I'll never be cool! I have enjoyed getting all my work done and most of it has no meaning at all.

Artwork................ artwork belongs on a wall..... tattoing goes beyond " artwork "!! Tattoing tells a story about who you are, where you have been and things you have done! If you are getting it just cuz it looks cool then you take the meaning out of a tradition that predates written history! A Hobby............... what a joke :twak:

Ive gotten tattoos for personal reasons to honor my beliefs, family history, cultural background, and what it is I do. I've also gotten tats from many different places because of my travels, all thanks to the military.
The fad that annoys me is people with money getting full sleaves done in single sessions. My sleave is an assortment of tats Ive gotten over the years and then shaded around to fill in the space.
