Gears

i'm not worried about it being a 4cyl. 4.88s sound fine.i put tire size and current ratio into one of the ratio calculators i found and thats what i came out with, but i still need someone who can install them. i would like to learn how to do it myself, but i need expert to teach/guide me through it.

I'm currently doing my 4.88 gears in my D30 and 8.25 I would be glad to help you out with questions. Im my opinion its easy, even though its my first time. The hardest thing is that it takes patience and lots of it to get it set up perfect. The right tools are also a must, but if you can borrow them like I did then its game on! ALLOT of reading on my part as well to inform myself of how this stuff works. Go to Yukon Gears site and find there gear install information, its very helpful in understanding how it works. Nitro Gear makes a nice set of 4.88 gears, RWK Haus Supply in the Vendor section on here sells them for a great price.
