Gearing Selection X2

Hi Guys, I didn't want to hijack the other Gearing Selection post with my question. But I'm asking something pretty similar.
I've got a 95, manual trans, D30 and C8.25, on 31's with the stock 3.07 gears. (Ugh!) I was going to regear to 4.11's. But I no longer have any money and any money I do have will be going elsewhere now (kids went to dentist, optometrist... - bye-bye money!).
So I've been playing around with different gear ratio calculators and reading other posts, and have come to realize that 3.55’s and 31" tires may be an okay choice.
What do you all think? I’ll be staying at 31’s for quite a while now. Would it be worth it?

It's cheap and easy. If you get down to pull-n-save TODAY, you can still get them for half price: Both axles for probably (?) around $100.

With any luck, you might find a rear with a factory limit slip. Nice upgrade for no extra $$$.

I ran 3.55's in my 92 5spd w/ 32's and was very happy

I can do the install for you, just bring me the axles and parts. I actually still have my 3.55 geared D30 under the front of my 92 I can sell you.
