Hey,
I'm lookin to install my 4.56s for my Dana 30 and Chryco 8.25.
The best price I've got was $600 near Sacramento (this was a drive in - drive out price).
Suggestions for shops please....
What have you guys paid??

I'm in Santa Barbara County (just about Socal)
Thanks

Another vote for rawbrown.

A little far of a drive, but you could make a nice weekend trip.

Another vote for Ryan (Rawbrown) after he is done with my rig that he has that is. :laugh3: He's in Encinitas, not far from U. I think he was so good I drove down from Sacramento and left him my rig for a few months and he is working/installing my axles and maybe my Klune V.

You drove all the way down huh....? What about River City Differential in Rancho Cordova? My offroading friends in your area use these guys. But maybe they don't do the extensive work you were doing.....

The general consensus seems to be Ryan in Encinitas....What do you think he'd charge for front and rear. I've got all the parts (including master install kit and appropriate sized carriers). I'll call him later....but what are your guys' experience with his pricing?

Competitive.

Send him a PM on this board, he'll get back to ya fairly quickly. Rawbrown.

One more for Ryan. He did the rear 4.56s on my junk and I still need to get my XJ back to him to do the front end so I have matching gears.

Holy crap Ryan, just how many gears have you done? I bet you could do it blindfolded without a backlash gauge or torque wrench by now.

He did my D30 a while back and it was perfect!
