Thanks guys, I will have water and some Pepsi. Can't wait to eat goat!

I have a leg of goat that I am bringing. There should be plenty for everyone to have some. It may take a little time to BBQ but I think that everyone will like it.

Here is what else that I am going to bring.

Plate for holding the dial indicator
I have some D30 setup bearings, I know justin sent some, but just incase.
Some extra shims
Regular coke and Diet coke
A few bucks for Cold adult beverage
No wife<----hold on, who is going to open the beers ???

Do you need any jack stands ? 3 ton jack ? Air tools ? Any other tools that you can think of, or anything else that you can think of.

I'm sure it's too late now, you're probably on your way but I am going looking for a bearing separator this morning. I had a brain cramp and forgot to go to harbor freight and pick one up after work the other day. Then last night, or rather at 1AM this morning, in my tired state I put the bearings on the D30 carrier without shims.:dunce:

It was an interesting day. Learned alot as well. I am glad that John was on the floor getting all greasy.

Waiting to see your write up when you get it done.

Thanks to John and family for hosting Gearclinic learned a ton of stuff. It was great meeting the guys.
It's no wonder why a shop charges so much to do a gear set. To get it right takes time. :worship:
Thanks again.
Gary

Leep, the goat was excellent! :chef:

Got to say thumbs up to John. My buddy Chris and I learned a lot and took a lot of the mystery out of swappen' gears. Also lets you know why they charge as much as they do.

Nice meeting everyone as well. Sorry we had to leave early but my buddy needed to get his DRZ400 back together.

See ya on the trails.

Thanks everyone for coming, it was a good time. I hope everyone was able to learn something usefull. Leep, I have the plate for the dial indicator still. If you need it quick I can send it to you. I finally got the job done late Sun afternoon. It'll take me a month to get rid of the stench of 90 weight oil from my garage! I decided to weld in a threaded hole for a real fill plug on the rear cover and paint it. I also replaced the t-case front output seal. Let's get together again for a wrench fest. I plan to take the whole front clip apart in Sep and move the radiator forward as far as I can and do a modified version of a Taurus fan install.
