I'll trade ya my RC x-flex Joints for the skid plate. As long as it will fit a 97 Cherokee

I can't guarantee that it will fit a 97. Can anyone here confirm? I may be down for a trade...

I would not know, I am new at this XJ stuff, but I do think I read somewhere that a 97 is different then 96 and older, I cannot confirm this though.
