Fergie... going out where? Ya lost me.Fergie said:For all those that complain about getting crummy mileage and having to pay too much, do you think you are going to save that much by going out
Ahh eat me. I hit the fricken caps lock button when I was typing then hit tab instead of the cap locks to correct. The tab highlighted the submit and when I hit enter, the post was made. As you can see it is now edited.Glenn said:Fergie... going out where? Ya lost me.

I don't know about your area, but as of June 1 in the Denver area we are running 'summer gas' which supposedly costs an extra 5 cents or so per gallon. That's a great addition to the mess...atowley said:I don't understand gas prices. We were paying 2.17 a gallon for regular unleaded two weeks ago, over memorial and this week, it dropped to 1.89 a gallon. Now today, it magically jumped back up to 2.07 a gallon. Pick a price darnit!!!!! :bawl:
At least we are not doing rationing by license plate numbers. That Odd/Even stuff sucked.Eagle said:What's happening now is even more unbelievable than the company-engineered "shortages" of the mid-70s. Yesterday gas at my local supermarket (cheapest gas around here) was $2.11. At noon today it was $2.16. At 5:45 today it was $2.19.
They're not even trying to relate the price to what they pay for it any more. They just jack it up a penny every hour on the hour, or so it seems.

excellent, just in time for a cross-country towing trip.

I hope I can get to NACfest on less than 100 gallons :bawl:
And I'll be right behind any convenient semi. It is amazing what a difference drafting can make. I've noticed 4-5 mpg gain on the readout in the ZJ.Beezil said:git up front bytch....I'm drafting behind the motorhome.
