gas prices in your area???

Just hit $2.36 for 87.

Time to look for a cheap Geo Metro. Really, I don't see what all the hoopla is about the hybrids. 90s Geo Metros got as good or better mileage and can be had for $1000. Throw a timing belt and new plugs, change the fluids, and drive the piss out of it. Max you'd have $1500 in one, that's if you have to put brakes and tires on it too. I don't get it?

Yea today (in Ontario) and yesterday are prices are hitting 91.9 cents per liter X4.4 for the price of the gallon, we are paying alot, not as much as in other countries, though but with the hike as much as it is as fast as it is makes for a negative experiance, I do not mind rising prices, but with the amount of the increase it is too much to handle, I will be driving my XJ less that is forsure and buy a car that is more fuel effient for everyday driving, I know that if I use a car sensibly I can beat the fuel prices and help out the environment at the time.

I will keep my XJ for weekend and trail driving and buy a kia Rio, or Chrysler Neon /SX 2.0,something that is perfect for going back and forth to work. and general driving, saving wear and tear on my XJ, sometimes the darkest moments do have a silver lining....

2.159 for regular and 2.359 for premium.

I almost had a heart attack filling up the 5.9 last night, first time it took $50 to fill it up, and I do that about 3 times a week.

1.87-1.99 for reg here in charlottesville....not killing me yet, but soon.

i just filled up today at the neighborhood BP and its still $1.87, it sucks but I guess it could be a lot worse. Gas prices in Georgia are always one of the cheapest.

I drove to work yesterday and the prices were 1.96 a gallon for regular. Came home that night, and they magically shot up to 2.19 a gallon!!!!!!!! Getting expensive....

Prices went down this last week to $5.51, 81 octane regular unleaded. :tears:

Depending where in Orlando you are, it's ranging from $1.91 to $2.10 for 87-octane, add +10 cents for midgrade and +20cents for premium.

Ugh.

Don't even think about complaining... you got it cheap!

meh. I'll complain all I want, it was 40 cents cheaper not 4 weeks ago.

stupid 45-min-daily-plus-idling commute to the university in the fall is gonna kill me.... I'm gonna have to get a Civic or something if this ke......... :gag:

Somebody beat me over the head if I EVER try to say that again. The only reason I'm giving up this XJ is if I find me a '95/'96 or so, 4wd, dark blue XJ with ~100k miles on it somewhere around Orlando. Still looking... :D

Tell me about it!! I did!! and freed up the XJ for trail duties :D Anyways, I remember paying less then a buck for gas and being rather miffed about it going to $1.50! And now when it almost reached $2.50 I just throw my hands in the air and give up.....

St Louis, MO area - $1.91 to $1.94 for regular. All kinds of fun considering I do 400 miles a week average for work in a cargo van full of sewer equipment. Haven't been able to figure out how to use the bike instead!
