Well guys, this weekend marks the start of the beiginning stages of my build!!

I plan to work this Saturday and Sunday, from about 10 to 6, tearing into my rig. The plan is to get it stripped of axles, glass, doors, interior, and really anything that won't be going back on. I hope to get this done this weekend So i can start fine tuning my plan for the chop it is going to receive and to get measurements for the materials I will need for the frame stiffeners.

If anyone wants to come by and lend a hand or jut point and laugh at my rediculous ideas, let me know an I will PM you my address. Of course cheap beer and pizza are on me for anyone that helps.

Btw, my 10 year old son will be around for those who have kids.

I have the same one you do, just a 110v Lincoln. I have a bottle but its too small for this project. Going to be getting a larger bottle next week.

Garrett, I'll be busy next few weeks to a month Painting ripping carpet out, Putting in wood flooring at my sons house cause his baby is due next few weeks. Sorry can't help. I know you were thinking at Big Bear about running smaller tires. I have 37's on alum.16.5 wheels if you need to borrow them for sizing. Where's my hand stand?

Nice! We won't need that this weekend, but that could be a huge help next weekend for sure! I can wire up a 220v plug in no time!! My electrical panel is on that side of the house that my garage is on.

Probably not today, I won't be home until about 6, and have some straightening up to do so I have room to work in the garage. If you are around that late you re more than welcome to stop by tho.

Well, got off to a good start today...

What she looked like to start things off.

And with a lot of help from Vanimal...

I'm not sure if my neighbors ever liked me, but I'm pretty sure what they think of me now!!

Tomorrow I should be able to get the rest of the small stuff taken off, scrap the stuff I don't need, and maybe start prepping for my stiffeners.

I should probably start a build thread or something in one of the tech threads...

get your brackets, we can get the axles mounted by next weekend most likely. driveshafts may need work, but at least it will be a roller.
