Full Traction Long Arm, your experience?

Yeah, it sounds like you want rubicon express drop brackets with superride arms.

thats about as plush as it gets.

I have the first 6 inch long arm FT kit they produced and it is still working great. The lower arms are super strong and have taken rubicon rock abuse for years without bending or denting. My ride is smooth but loud due to the Johnny Joints I have but with the new kits you don't have Johnny Joints so the noise should go down. I would recommend frame stiffener before install of the kit use the TNT frame stiffeners weld them in and then install the FT Kit over them. Doing the stiffeners first will save you time in the long run and help with the ride and alignment. I have simple RS5000 shocks that took a long time to break in but for smooth ride out of the gates get the vehicle weighed at the scales on HWY 80 and call ARB give them the weight and collapsed length and extended length and they will get you what you need. For install go to WFO in Auburn they have experience with the frame stiffeners and alignment problems you may get from other shops.

Thanks for the great info. Please enlighten me on the specific purpose for frame stiffeners, other then implied! Do the long arm systems add more stress? Are you recommending them even with a 31.5 tall tire?

Thanks again for sharing your ideas/experience.

Our vehicle, like many built today are of a unibody design. The frame stiffeners help keep your "framerails" straight and your vehicle more solid. Even if you were to keep your vehicle stock-ish, would much improve overall with the frame stiffeners.

The long arm system will ad more stress to the vehicle as with any after market system would because the vehicle was not designed from the factory for any systems on the market today. Yes I would recomend the FT kit for 31.5 inch tires I have 32X11.5 at the moment.
