Fuel Pump Question

so My fuel pump went out this weekend on the way to work which kind of sucks. Wondering since i am on the poor side and fuel pumps are cheap well a little. How is the install on it. I know you have to take the gas tank out and such but anyone have any experience or tips or would just not reccommend it period.

What year? Are you sure it's not the fuel pump relay or a fuse?

Its a 91 and it has been giving signs of going out. Like turning right it stutters and i think this is the third time it has gone out in 4 years. Always seems to be when the warranty is up.
