Can these be replaced or does the whole regulator need to be replaced. One of those little bastards flew out today and now, of course, its leaking. I couldnt find it and it was to late to hit the parts store.

They seem pretty inset so im not to sure if you can really replace them.

Thanks for the help.

yes, you can just replace the o-ring. for example, some fuel injector oring kits come with 13 orings, 12 for the injectors and 1 for the fpr. dont know the size, i would stop by the dealer and pick one up for a $.

Yeah my injector O ring kit did come with 13, 7 black and 6 brown, but those things are huge and dont fit in the regulator. Ill go to napa tonight and grab some then.

EDIT: Just searched around and the O ring that comes with that kit is for the fuel pressure regulator to the rail.

I need the O rings that go from the actual fuel hard line into the regulator. There are two in there...

You can just replace the O rings with fuel grade 5/16 x 7/16. The two O rings and spacer usually are left behind in the regulator when the line is pulled out .

Sweet thanks. Yeah Ive pulled that line out a dozen times and this time that O ring came out with it.

isnt that a fuel line quick disconnect?

Sounds like it.

NB: O-rings should be replaced every time a "quick-connect" is taken apart, especially on a fuel connection! Full stop. (Now you know why - although I've seen it where someone cheaps out and the damn thing leaks the first time it's put back together. Why take chances?)

It is... but in the cylinder there are two O rings that seal the connection of the hard line into the FPR.
