Fuel injectors, bottom line

OK, need to replace all 6 of my injectors on the Jasper engine thats coming in on monday, just how good is 'FiveO motorsports'. I'm looking at the Bosch design II, set of 6 for $202 or the F6VE for $212. Other than I know they are there I have never had any interaction with them other than the skinny pedal and to check for leaks.

Bought a set from them about six months ago, no problems. good service.
Bought the Bosch II's from them, Runs fine. And yes the the little nozzle cover stays on ( looks like a little bowler hat) Keeps small stuff from getting into nozzles.

Rich, what was the ultimate problem with the engine? I saw in a post where the injectors, I believe, malfunctioned, but did they cause something else to break? I just need something else to worry about as I approach 200K.....Thanks..Ray

Mine is a 98 w/~307,000mi on it, #3 cylinder has no compression so my two options were to have the head pulled and 'done', cost was around $1000 for a full valve job, new injectors, etc and then put the head back on a 300,000+ miles block. Second option was a new motor for $2100 from jasper w/a 3yr 75,000mi warranty.
What we think happened was injector #3 failed open and washed the cylinder walls also burning the valves.
The downside is I have no place to do this myself or I would have pulled the head for a looksee and might have considered doing the work myself but leaving at 7am and getting home at 6pm m-f does not leave me a lot of time, not to mention the weather has turned bastard cold again.
I came within 5 minutes of buying a very nice 01 Sahara for $10K that I had been driving by for the past two weeks but missed it by 5min.
If I had 'do overs' I think I would now and will in the future replace injectors every 100K.
Still trying to figure out what I did that my karma turned so bad :(

Has anyone used the F6VE (710) set Bosch Design III injectors in a RENIX I6 or know the difference between Bosch Design II and Design III?

Well, ordered the bosch II injectors from 50MS, should be here on tue or wed, they ship us mail. Best price I could get anywhere else was $300+ so $202+$9 for shipping was welcome. This engine thing is getting expensive, figured I would do the O2, cat and cat back, TB sensors and really scrub the TB and intake manifold while they are off..
It is also getting a new clutch while the engine is getting swapped out, might as well...

I installed the Bosch injectors from 5motorsports last year in my '89.

Was plug and play. Had them over a year and no problems...with excellent performance boost... like a new engine.

I've only had them for about 6 months, but they are doing great.

They only go up to 95, mines a 98. If I had known I might have given them a call..
