Friggen fuel pumps batman

That's what I was thinking. I'll be calling napa today to get prices. Found Bosch complete assemblies on eBay for 200 shipped. I'd rather go local. I'll hunt down some Delphi prices too.
 
I look at the stats for both Bosh and Delphi and I like the low voltage of the Delphi.
 
what if you just hire me and Tim (reno tim) to sit in the cargo area and just manually siphon gas for you while you drive ?
 
Doing some quick research on the carquest site, comes up with PN FG1076 for Delphi Fuel module assembly. Unfortunately no pics. Site shows the price at 217$
Bosch 67658 356$ Should be able to cross those numbers at Napa, if necessary.
 
It does Tim. But I also like to support the local guys too. It's not one of the big stores. Also some things are just nice to be able to jump down the street and pick it up instead of wait four days to get in the mail damaged. That has happened to me on more than one occasion.

I hear you Gordo, I too think that we should support the local guys and love just paying my money and putting my muckers on it.
 
Whatever you do, don't buy an Airtex. My pump went out on a road trip in WV, and the shop told me before replacing it that more than half of the Airtex pumps they put in either don't work out of the box or dont work for long. Only Airtex was readily available, so we went with it, and right out of the box it didn't work. The second worked long enough for me to sell it.

Well the guy must have been smoking crack on the phone. Got to the shop and they were asking almost 300$. So I checked on eBay again and found a Bosch unit for 200 shipped. Should be here next week. I'm pulling the axles tonight anyway to get ready to regear them. Ill be working on that for a while anyways. Hope I get this all done before Sierra fest. Also have to convert my track bar to heims. I have them already just have to retrofit the bar on one end. At some point here I might have to start a build actual build thread.
