Hey guys.

Just got here to the Junction area. I come from a BMW background, but that doesn't work too well out here in the snow... so I went and bought myself an MJ and started modding.

It's not much, and kinda looks a bit hillbilly for now but I'll get it together soon enough. For now though, I am looking for a good recommendation for a gear installer. Anyone know someone here locally?

In the meantime - I'm looking forward to meeting you all, and of course getting her out off the beaten path. Keep me in mind when you're planning the next outing.

So far I've installed a D44 out back, bobbed roughly 8" out of the bed, filled in the tail light housing and installed oval LED tail lights, started making up a rear bumper, and played with the wheels/tires a bit. Right now, I have the front driveshaft out since my gear ratio's do not match - like I said, I need a gear installer.

The day I bought it:

welcome -- like the bob!

Troy...is this the one that got away?

You could come to a meet and greet on this side of the divide, and have Flores or Dutch do the gears. Just a thought.

Nice MJ.

Welcome fellow MJ enthusiast!

I dig what you've got going on with your build!

The only shop I can recommend in the Junction area is Battlement Fabrication. Clint is a good guy and can help you out.

I'll give then a ring. I much prefer to give money to a person in need rather than a shop, but we'll see what they say.

welcome -- like the bob!
Thank you! Never done one before... the first day I owned this trick, I went up to do a little wheeling and dragged that back end all over out there. Took me about an hour to decide was going to cut it off.

Thank you. I like that idea...

i have a buddy who comes this way from junk town pretty often that you could send the axle with and i could gear over a weekend
This... Is why I love Jeepers. If you're seriously interested, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Righteous, thanks! Long ways to go yet but it'll come together soon enough.

Welcome!
