Free D35

Yeah yeah, I know no one wants these boat anchors....but I'm cleaning out my garage and this thing needs to go. So I figured I'd post it up here on the slim chance that someone might actually need it.......before I put it out for the scrap metal dude to pick it up on Friday.

Came out of my 92 XJ when I swapped in a D44. Nothing was wrong with it when it was pulled. Sat in my garage until now. 3.55 gears.

You want it? Let me know before Friday and come get it.

While I would love to run hassle free stock axles again...

I cant bring myself to even think about a D35 like that...

I dono - ive been through 2 shafts in the last 2 outings...

i tihnk a d35 probably would last longer, just 'cuse I wouldnt want to change c-clip shafts!

I've got a non-c clip one sitting in the garage, and I've got a spare housing, and 3 sets of shafts.
They're all setup for an MJ though.
Yes, I'm prepard for the d35 exploding soon.

does it come with the drums, and if so, are the drums and shoes in good condition?

also, how do i tell what gears i have if my identification plate thing on the diff is rusted through?(91 4.0 AW4 NP242 tow package)

yes, drums are on it. brakes were fine when i pulled it

....and it's gone. even got $10 for it (which I would not have accepted if I were home when the axle was picked up).

I'm just glad someone is gonna get some use out of this thing instead of it becomming scrap metal.
