I need to open up a bit more room in my garage so I'm getting rid of my old block.
Details:
Stock 4.0 block from an '89 XJ. Block has about 250,000 miles or so and is noisy but not blown up. The cylinders look good but are going to be out of round and have a lip, I haven't pulled the pistons. There might be some minor surface rust on the walls at the rings just because it's been sitting around headless. However the engine has always been stored in the garage and I did not pressure wash it when it was taken apart. This would be for a rebuild or stroker project. You get the block, pistons, crank, cam, renix flexplate with some chipped teeth and water pump. You do not get the cylinder head, manifolds, alternator, bracketry, engine stand, safety glasses, Pictionary game, or Atari 2600 (in the box!).
Since photos sell (or, in this case, give) here is a photo.
Local pickup only! I'm sure we can set up a way to meet up too. Also I want this gone, so no "I'll take it when I'm driving through L.A. in six months"
