Fox or King shocks?

I dont know.

So whats the best diesel truck ever though..

Oh and auto or stick?

Depends on your specific set up. Nobody can answer that question but you.

Any rebuildable 2.0.

... will be rebuilt after every time you go out. don't forget this is the jeepspeed section (if the OP is in fact posting asking about a high speed desert application). last set of 2.0's I had got so hot i touched them and left fingerprints on them as the seals were oozing melted rubber and oil out of the bottom of the cans.

I would say MINIMUM 2.5, with a reservoir is the norm.

Everything in a Fox shock is "race" quality. King has their Pre-runner or Race shock which is more money. FYI you can replace the seals in any shock and upgrade to Viton for cheap, but King also upgrades other stuff.

I agree with crazyjim. Fox is my choice BUT either company will sell you a high quality race shock that can handle your needs.

Now you also say in your original post, a Fox 3.0 or King 2.5. Hands down the 3.0. The piston in the 3.0 and bigger shocks is so much better than the 2.5 design (basically across all companies) that you really can tune the shocks a bit better. With that said, if you are just going to slap them on and go...buy whats cheaper!

Bumpstops are bumpstops. King/Fox/Bilstein/SAW all work great. Unless your ride is out of control heavy a 2.0 bump should work great.

3.0 anything over 2.5 anything. Go with whichever you can get a deal on. I have kings and no complaints, but i get friend of a guy with sponsorship deals, lol.

I have Fox 2.0 Pigy back bypass front and 2.0 remote reservoir in the back, they work great, totally rebuildable.

Never had a set of shocks this good.

I have Fox's on one of my XJ's and am very pleased.
I also have Bilsteins on 3 other vehicles and like them also.

I'm sorry, but saying you have no rear shocks and ALSO saying your Jeep handles like a Caddy instantly disqualifies you from posting in a shock thread.

this.

comparing a 3.0 to a 2.5 of a different brand is stupid...if you can afford the 3.0, get it.

No need for a 3" unless your doing peninsula racing, and if the OP is planning on doing that, he is asking shock advice in the wrong forum.

im saying that my 2.5 kings more than compensate for lack of rear shocks and granted im not into all the go fast stuff i have got it up to higher speeds offroad and it handles better than i expected

how the holy hell do you drive with no rear shocks, lol. i think we're having some description problems here. perhaps you don't understand what shocks means in this context? it almost sounds like you're saying you have adjustable bypasses and no other *additional* shocks in the rear, and that's what you're commenting on.

at least I hope so
