Found my leak......

Does this look out of the ordinary.......................:gee: So I get the front of the Jeep pulled off to change the front crank seal and timing cover gasket and this is what I found....................

Have you pullrd the pan and looked for metal in the bottom?

Yup, I had the same thing happen to mine.

The outer part of the crankshaft pulley will either slide forward or backwards.
Backwards, as you can see, is worse.

Yup,

I would suggest replacing the oil pan gasket and rear main seal as well.

Well luckily that hole didnt open up till I pushed on it and we didnt find any metal in the oil thank god..
