When did Fort Collins start requiring emissions tests? Found out today I need one to renew registration at an additional cost of 25 bucks. Hope my stroker passes cause i dont need another project. What a pain in the:moon:.

Cross your fingers. The Republicans have passed an exemption for Larimer and Weld County. Now the Democrats will try to kill it.

Such a stinking pain.

I have all old rigs, a 85 subie and a 98 XJ. I had to have my subie tested 4 times last week, before it passed. And that equals a cool 50 bucks.

If I had only went to the right place first it would have passed the first time. Stupid. I am dreading getting the XJ done next year. Please let it pass!

If you live in FOCO. Go to the one at Hwy 14/ I-25. They are awesome, and there to help get your car to pass. The other place just south of FOCO is just full of dummies.

(Sorry if any of you work there, but the 3 people I talked to were jokes. They didn't know anything about customer service or cars...)

So i went to the DMV yesterday to renew my registration, and they just handed me the stickers. Didnt say anything about emissions. Not sure how that works, but im happy.

odd numbered years this year. even numbers next year... So my 85 was due this and my 98 is due next year. lucky you!

I had to renew my 2000 back in dec. guess since they started requiring emissions in nov that means us poor suckers with a even number that had renewal due in nov or dec got the shaft.

When I got my renewal notice I tried to find out where the testing station was. Air car colorado and the Larimer country dmv website did not have the info available. Stupid, require tests, build a station, but don't update your website so I know where the hell to go.
