I'm getting ready to take the part-time tow rig plunge. I am still weighing the diesel/gas motor fight, and I know and understand the differences.
Plus, I have had ABSOULTELY MISERABLE experiences from EVERY SINGLE GM product I have ever owned, I don't want to hear buy a Chevy, there just better.
I think I remember reading about a Ford diesel to avoid, either it was bad, or the tranny was weak.
What years to avoid, or a good reason to get a certain year? A gas motor isn't out of the question.
