Ford 8 lug 44/60 swap questions

FYI if you are doing the 9 inch I highly recommend the Ruffstuff pinion gaurd. I cant imagine what my pinion would look like without it.

What can I do to retain the factory e-brake cable with the ford 9"?

Use ford 8.8 disc brakes

Im planning on using the factory drum brakes for the time being. Disks will be down the road a bit!

My e brake cables work perfectly on the 9 inch drums. I think all i had to do was put a washer on the clip that snaps on the back of the drum. Everything else worked perfect.
