Ford 8.8
4.56 gears, open.
Disc brakes, clean rotors, calipers, hoses, Hard line (to be bent by you for your application), no pads
Bare tubes, sleeved to 3.5" (~5/16" thick) tubes welded to housing
full set Spare Shafts
400$

I also have, and will sell with the axle only-
Rock tactics leaf spring perches for the 3.5" tubes 25$/pair
3.5"x8"x9/16" Ubolts with washers and tall nuts 50$/all 4
Polyperformance lower shock mounts 50$/pair
Ruffstuff 3/8" cover, countersunk holes 120$
Black magic brake pads 100$

OR

I will sell the complete setup: axle with all the additional pieces for $700.

I give the options so someone who wants the whole thing can have it, someone who wants just spring perches, or just shock mounts, etc can have it that way or someone who just wants a cleaned up axle to link or custom fab suspension on can do that too. I will not sell the other components without the axle.

this setup is ready to go into a leaf sprung rig. all you would need would be a driveshaft flange adapter that would be determined by your driveshaft, and a set of parking brake cables that would be determined by the rig you are putting it in. once you have all the stuff, you set the pinion angle and perch width and weld away, put the shock mounts where you need them, weld them on. etc.

if you want this and need someone to do the welding, we can work something out, just PM me.

The perches are not burned in. Right now it is bare tubes with a truss tacked in place.

I'll cut the truss off or leave it on for 40$ and give you the perches I have for 25$

The reason I haven't burned in the perches is because they should be set specifically to whatever pinion angle the rig it's going in to.

Ron, I can help you burn the perches in, if you end up going this route.

Heck, any 8.8 will need the perches welded on, its not a big deal. A stick welder and some 7018 rod is all you need.

What's wrong with Mig?

In soviet russia, mig flies you

Nothing wrong with mig, but I would want a good.machine.
i know he has a stick available, and since thats what I used on mine, I would feel comfortable doing it again.

For the center section to tube welds, you would either need a lot of preheat, or one heck of a mig.

For the center I had it stick welded.

I have also seen Tig

For all the perches, etc that are mild steel, any mig worth it's salt can do it.

Nothing is sold yet. I have been going back and forth with someone about it

Haven't heard from him in a few days.

What are you interested in?
