For Sale Threads

I'm figuring (yeah, prob should have read it somewhere...) that "For Sale" threads belong in the "For Sale" forum, but that thing is a pain to navigate with how many people there have their subject lines.

I'm sure the threads that were moved were moved to follow the Forum Rules, but it would be nice if it was possible to have Chapter "For Sale" Forums, maybe within a "For Sale" Catagory, where you could either go to your Chapter "For Sale" or do a search of the entire "For Sale" Catagory.

If this is the wrong forum for this thread, by all means move it. Maybe it belongs in the "Member" Forum, but I'll start here. (Please note I'm not bringing this up for myself, since none of the threads affected were started by me. This is just an observation on the forum practices.)
 
We are preparring to launch a new Classifieds system in the near future. It should make it easier to navigate/search, etc... It also has a zip code database so people can see how far stuff is from their location. People still "should" use a descriptive title with their location though.... makes life easier.

Look for the launch in the near future, but until then we need to use the proper forums for selling/buying. :D

I thought it was also... I would think a chapter for sale section would make sense. I've posted things in the regular one saying, "NW SALE ONLY, WILL NOT SHIP" and lo and behold...some donk asks how much to ship to blah blah. WTF?

Is it still deemed for sale if you're giving it away? :P
 
Guys, re-read what I posted. We have a new system coming on line shortly.

As far as "up to the Chapter", this has been discussed at length by the National BOD, and hence the new system. Either way, if you have restrictions on your sale, post it in your message..... in the For Sale forum for now.
