For Sale: AX15 and NP231 from 89

I bought this engine/tranny/TC combo from Gambit4000s on here back in October. The plan was to swap the AX15 into the Comanche for DD duty, but I have decided against it since the tornado came through Cullman (my home town) and destroyed said MJ.

This transmission and transfercase has not been run in a vehicle by me, but it was sold to me under the impression that it was in perfect working order.

Someone somewhere shoot me an offer on the AX15 and NP231 and we will go from there. Im keeping the engine for my 1990 XJ. Its a 21 spline setup.

Im about to head to work, but I will get some pictures tonight or sooner.

21 spline? Do you mean 23? Also the 89 had the pugeot tranny not the ax-15.... I have a friend that is looking for an ax-15 I'll give him your number you posted.

This was transplanted into the 89. Im just going off what I know from him. Its DEFINITELY the ax15 and 231, but I havent cracked em open to check the spline, thats just what I was told.

I have a broken Puegot for comparison so Im positive. (original to my Manche)

If you have a dock i can palletize it and send it through our FedEx at work. We move alot of lead around so we get a good rate.

Its a good thing I didnt sell this cause my AW4 broke the part where the hydraulic line goes in the back, so I had to do an emergency "hey I need this" decision.

So, no longer for sale. Lock her down.
