For Sale: 91 XJ 4x4

E - Thanks for the heads-up. I was thinking that writing it into the Bill of Sale would be good enough, but it does appear to be otherwise. I guess I'll have to find the time to get it smogged.

Replied to PM's.

This is my idea for the sale (I think it's a viable solution).

1) I'll sell my jeep to the buyer. And all transactions will be dated a day or two after the actual sale.
2) I'll file for non-op with the storage location of the buyers address on the day it's sold, so the buyer can drive it home and park it (buyer - look up rules on parking a PNO vehicle).
3) Then all the paper work can be filed to the DMV after the "transaction day".

Anyone interested in going this route?

If I can't get mine to pass smog, that is what I will be doing.

Honestly though, If you know yours will pass, It will help it sell and be less work than putting it into Non-op at the dmv.

So I still have it. I've been thinking that a part out would be a good way for me to practice wrenching on a XJ. At least that's what I was thinking. We'll see how far I actually go with it.

I'm going to group some items and give a price for everything in that group. And if you buy a group I'd be happy to make some deals on the Other Stuff.

Group 1 will be easy to do, so I'll get around to it. The others are a maybe depending on my motivation and interested buyers.

###Group 1: Rack and Skids###
Price $400
-Roof Rack (lockable rain gutter clamps, crossbars and basket)
-Gas Skid
-Transfer/Trans/Pan Skid
-2" Rear Hitch
-I'll throw in a paintball gun with this group. Fired it last weekend and it worked.

###Group 2: Doors and Glass###
Price $250
-All doors with good glass, window motors and lock motors (on cold mornings some of the motors move slow)
-Hatch door with good glass and wiper motor
-Glass windows in the back area

###Group 3: Lift Kit###
$350 for the group
-Rear: leafs, shackles, and shocks
-Front: Springs, Upper/Lower Control Arms, shocks (with the adaptor to connect to the body), track bar, sway bar disconnects and extended brake lines

###Group 4: Axle and Wheels###
$500
-HP D30 VAC with 4.56 gears and Aussie Locker (rotor to rotor including brakes)
-D35 with 4.56 gears and Aussie Locker (Drum to drum)
-5 black steel wheels (4 tires good enough to be rollers)
-I'll throw in my barely used Guitar Hero World Tour for PS3 with this group.

###Other Stuff###
NP231 Transfer Case with SYE - $150
Front and Rear Drive shafts - $60
136A Alternator and Bracket - $100
Engine Control Module - $100
Gas Tank and Fuel Pump - $50
Stock Intake with K&N, throttle body and manifold - $100
Exhaust (header, cat, and flowmaster) - $50
Electric Fan - $10
Mechanical Fan - $20
Grant Steering Wheel - $30
Power Steering and Pump - $50
Hood with cheap vents- $10

Engine (what's left of it) , transmissions, Brown Dog Motor Mounts - $100, but you'll need to bring over the tools (engine hoist primarily) and help get it out.

Remember that everything has been used, so it's not going to be in great shape. But I think that I've given reasonable prices to the items.

Post up if you would be interested in something. Or call out something that I didn't list and make a offer. If I get enough real interest, I'll do the part out.
