Need some opinions,
My rear bumper and tire carrier--I kept the stock end caps--they cover pretty good.. but i got me some new flares and those " Rock Lizard" metal plates for the rear 1/4 to add on...I have since put 33x11.50's on the rig....same stock rims, not gonna change 'em till I wreak em.

My left front tire with the rusty's conversion...need to get those adjustable control arms to p-ush out my axle......sway links touch the springs because of this sometimes.

completely rebuilt 8.8 finally installed with the coveted disc brakes without the brake lines...I upgraded to yukon 4.56 gears front and back also.

I suppose I could raise the mounts or even weld on drop brackets, i like the ajustable control arms...though i am not nailed down on anyone idea....i'd love a long susp, but i kinda went over my mod budget for the next two years....explain raising the shock mounts...is it a bracket thing?

did you weld the tubes on the 8.8?

I was talking about raising the shock mounts on the 8.8. Just raise them up even with the axle tube; more ground clearance. Just that much less to get hung up on.

sorry......i thought of moving them up.....when i got back to the shop it was already welded up and installed on the truck. I never mentioned to the guy about moving them up so he didn't..... when i break em that will be the idea to move em up, i do have replacements, but answer me this..i will have to get a different shock if i move up the mounts for decent shock travel....no?

Yes, shorter shocks will be needed if you raise the mounting point.
