next up on the mods list.... an alarm! just this last night as walking out to my jeep from a friends apt in Tulsa I was hearing some beeping, and so was looking around, saw some black guy lookin into a car about 40 yards away or so wearing all black, went on to my jeep, opened it up to get in and noticed part of my dash laying in my front seat... and knowing I didn't leave it there! also noticed a lot of broken glass and saw my CD player gone, and the little window in front of the main passenger window broken out, they took quite a bit of stuff from me including.... CD player, about 30 CD's mostly christian-hot on the black market I am sure, about 10 DVD's (they were hidden), all my change from the center console (about $20 at least in there), my tool box chalked full of tools, a black tote containing air compressor, mag lite, spot lights, buck knife, and more in there, they also took my backpack ( zippers broken), and some mints.... and there is more I am sure.... the cop said the same thing happened to him when he had a cherokee, same window broken out and he said that happens to xj 's all the time, in this crime infested city, he said it cost him $200 to fix that little window, not to mention the part of the dash they snapped off, and the gaping hole in my dash now, guess I know what I am doing today.....
no, the problem isn't that I had all that stuff in my jeep... it was locked, signifying that I wanted noone else in.... my stuff, inside of something that I own... is MINe, that is until some lazy, worthless pile of human rubbish decides to dress all in black, no clothes necessary, he could have went nude and done that... I gave the description of the guy I saw to the cop... with no real hope of finding him I know, how could I pick him out, the cop just said to the description, Imagine that...
