We are going to have a raffle and chilli cook off also. But it is a NAXJA RRC event and its our "main" event of the year. Anything else you want to know.

Perhaps if you could tell us exactly what info you're looking for we could better answer your question. I suppose it depends on your definition of "special."

The short answer to what you're actually asking is: Yes, it's "just a run."

The long answer is: No, it's not "just a run."

There will be no headlining rock bands, dancing girls (unless the ladies in our group become so inclined....scary thought though), car shows, burn out contests, or square dancing.

What you can expect is to be pelted with air soft pelts, seeing anything and everything that is flammable thrown into the fire, hearing some good stories, getting great ideas on where you want your built to go, learning what XJ's can really do, learning what you want and do not want to do on the trail, some good food, some not so good food, laughing at others who do not observe their limits, testing your own limits, standing around watching people fix what gets broken, chances to win stuff, and a lot of fun.

I do not consider it "just a run" because it is a 3-day event. What differentiates between the two for you?

And I also think we are taking over the upkeep of the trail X-Way... so on Sunday we will be cleaning up that trail and doing things to improve it. BMRA is now our "home" offroad park. We have given TMTC, the people that run Barnwell Mountain, a $1000 donation so the more of us that show our support for them and their park, the better.

So you thinking about trying to make it?

Its is a great time to had by all. Last year I brought my whole family to RoM in Hot Springs and everyone had a good time. And its the best time to meet all the people from around our chapter... people that you might never meet other wise.

You should come.... its a fun vent, plus you can just pick up that spare tire in person.

Sorry to HiJack the thread, I think this has been asked before, but I can't remember. Does the campsite we have at Barnwell have electricity?

Well I am bringing my pop-up, and I don't need electricity, I was just wondering if I should bring the fridge or just ice chests. Also depending on the weather I will most likely pack a kerosene heater as well (since the electric one won't be useable).

As far as cell phones and etc... I have car chargers for that.
