Thanks everyone! The process is much easier than it looks, and worth the results.

What did you use for the hood spacers? any pics I like that

Longer bolts and two nuts per bolt in-between the hinge and hood. You could use 1" square steel as well. I'll get pictures tomorrow if you would like.

I meant to tell you when I was out there last week that a friend of mine did the same thing on his and it seems to be working pretty good. Definitely a cheap alternative to cutting out sections of your hood for hood vents.

Why are you guys raising the hood ? I do not have any heating issues . and mine sits flat

Yeah, everything has been from LKQ. Tim and I went last week, there were very few older models, but the most 97+ I have seen in awhile.

I spaced the hood originally when I was having heating issues, which in the summer time it did reduce my temperature almost 10 degrees. Since then I have replace the entire cooling system, and although I probably don't need it, I leave it anyways.
