FI cleaner - possible damage?

I just changed the plugs on my 96 with champion trucks. I usually run the big bottle of techron around every 10k miles. I was thinking about changing my fuel filter(this ones got around 50K) and running either seafoam or techron. I just wanted to make sure that the seafoam wouldn't hurt the plugs, 02's, etc.

TIA

Main issue is with the spray cleaners, you can clean the TB with them but have to be careful not to get any on or inside the plastic housings on the TB, they tend to melt. I use the BIG bottle of techron when filling the tank and have used seafoam. I have gotten better results with techron and notice a change within about 10-20 miles of driving after adding, idle smooths out and better acceleration. If you decide to clean the TB with spray make sure the engine is running an you operate the throttle with your thumb while spraying, keep it out of the air flow sensor or any of the other slots or holes in there. You are better off removing the TB and cleaning it on the bench, it only adds about 20 minutes to the job and lets you get it really clean inside and out. I use the seafoam as a pour in the TB till it stalls cleaner to get at any carbon inside the combustion chamber. Smokes like crazy so warn your neighbors or they might call 911 to report a car fire...does a good job on the mosquito population during the summer too :D :D :D

I ran seafoam a couple of years ago. I followed the directions to a t. Smoke was almost non-existent. I guess my top-end was already really clean?!?

I just recently replaced my 3 year old O2 sensor and it was pretty fouled and gunked up. The only thing that I can think that contributed to this is an overuse of seafoam and tb cleaners.

Just a heads up, and someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Same here on that Sea Foam applacation. I had about 55/60k on in when it was tried though. I got the same resalts on a 80k 5.2 ZJ too.
