i popped the front passenger and the rear driver flares off on new years and haven't got around to putting them back on all the way. they are on there still but not secure. I have tried to get them back on but they won't pop back in place. anyone got any advice on the easiest way to do this?

You have mounting brackets that bolt on to the fenders. You have to unbolt the brackets, straighten them out and then mount to the flair. You then remount the whole assembly to the fender.

It is most likely that in taking the brackets off, you will break the stud, as the studs are thin. They rust easily and the nuts sieze. If you PB blast them for a couple of day, you just might get them off. If they breake, you can either weld new studs on, drill out and fasten other studs in or purchase new ones from the dealer (about $20 ea).

Mine have been on and off about 3 times, so to make it easier to remove each time, I initially slipped grease packed plastic tubeing over each stud.

Them popping of is one of the reasons a lot of guys leave them off. Guess I'm just not as lazy as I prefer to have them on.

The likelyhood of your just popping them on and them staying on are rather slim.

I agree with everything here except buying new brackets. Don't. They are a waste of money. Just go to Home Depot and get a bunch of .25"x1" bolts, nuts, and two washers for each bolt. You can get lock washers if you want, but they aren't necessary. I got so sick of dealing with the brackets every time I wanted to put my flares back on (about 3x) that I just got some of these. Plus, the washers are wider than the flared nuts that come with the stock brackets. The stock flared nuts had a tendency to wedge behind the inner wheel well liner making them a PITA to get off. With the washers this shouldn't happen.

I riveted the metal strips on mine back on and they've been fine for six or seven months even after going on trails tight enough for ATVs. Now, however, I'm thinking about removing them, doing some trimming, and painting the edges with bedliner.

If you choose to use the stock junk when you put them back on, use some anti sieze on the bolts and they will be easy to get off the next time.
I took mine off to paint them with duplicolor bed liner and they came out great (stops rock chips) I did the bumpers also.

I went to the hardware store and got seven "speed nuts" one for each hole on the flare, I slid one over each hole and secured it with stainless bolts/washers, worked out real well and was way cheaper that new flare hardware.
