May have to sell my DD, here's the specs
-1997 4.0 AX-15 247,000miles
-D30, 8.25
-30" tires on black American Racings (4" backspacing i think)
-recently done caps, plugs, rotor, wires
-oil always at 3000
-recent changed oil in tranny, tcase, coolant
-Aiwa aftermarket headunit w/ ipod input
-whiteface gauge overlays w/ LEDs
-all power
-just had the rear drums completely rebuilt with all new components (cost $500)

Since it's my DD and i'm a firefighter its got a Uniden BCT8 scanner w/ rear window mounted antenna and rear LED Speedtech lights (amber) hardwired in. I can leave these in at the buyers discretion or take them out with a slight reduction on the price.

It runs great and has nothing to hide. However the bearing in the compressor just starting making some noise the other day and the throwout bearing in the trans is a little noisy but always has been. Clutch is fine (catches close to the floor).

Not looking to get rid of her right away since my other XJ isn't roadworthy yet. Asking $2,400 for here on NAXJA

Here's two old pics, I'll update soon

Yeah yeah fisheye I know. The new pics won't be

Definately keep it in mind :)

I had guessed wrong on the mileage when I made this thread..it's actually 243,000 instead of 247,000.

Forgot to add its also got a manual switch for the electric fan (aftermarket 1250cfm on stock shroud) and a fuel-pump cutoff switch.

I may have to pull the black rims/tires off it to run them on my project jeep until I get new rims/tires for that one (the discs D44 needs less backspaced rims). In that case I have stock ones with better tread that I'll put on.

More pics when I get a camera to borrow.

UPDATE:

The bearing in the compressor ended up seizing and killing the belt, so I had both replaced new. Being at school and away from any tools or free time, I had to have it done at a shop for a pretty penny :wierd:. That being said I gotta raise the asking price to $2700.

I also swapped back to the stock tires which actually have better tread than the 30s (need to run them on the other XJ until I get 35s). Old pic, but these are them: nothing special
