The 4L60 is an updated version of the old TH700R-4. The "E" version denotes electronic shift control and needs a computer of some type to tell it when to shift.(I don't know if it can be "hot-wired" like a AW-4 to manual shift)
It's a pretty robust transmission, but it doesn't have the longevity of the AW in an XJ. This might be because every vehicle it's put in weighs at least a half ton more then an XJ.
The old Turbo-hydromatics were pretty tough transmissions, and the 4L60 shares the design. "De-engineered" like Torqueflights from Chrysler have been, the newer transmissions have less robust parts and benefit from "upgrades" involving using older design parts(needle bearings instead of newer wave washers, steel instead of plastic inserts, etc) That's why the quality rebuild is better then a factory new- or reman would be.
If it's been babied or taken care of, 130K is probably OK. Problem is, most autos aren't taken care of, and if the donor vehicle's dead at 130K, it probably wasn't babied. Personally I'd look for something newer/less miles, or or plan on a reman.
