I was just talking to a guy I used to work with today. he has a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 w/ a 5.9L Cummins. He has this thing doing 12.55 second 1/4 miles at the track. He has bigger injectors, straight pipes, 2 shots of nitrous, a turbocharger made for a 12L diesel (takes a whiel for that thing to spool up), air intake w/ cone filter (only because the stock one collapsed all the time because of the turbocharger, and a whole bunch of other stuff. hes running stock gears with LS front and rear with clutch packs tightened so much that he gets wheel hop going around corners. He left 4 beautiful 55 foot slabs in a parking lot doing a burnout in 4wd. So anyone know some one with a faster diesel?.......besides maybe a Jetta?

There are several 5.9 Cummins motors making near 2,000 ft lbs utilizing triple sequential turbos to achieve 150 psi (that's not a typo), methanol and nitrous injection to help the burn and very large intercoolers to keep it all burning cool.

Generally these rigs run in the mid tens in 4 wheel drive, if they can hook the power up.....

Diesel power makes me moist.
