Apologies and a wave to:

Apologies to the XJ driving NC Highway Patrolman in Swain County NC. You caught me 'in the wind' coming down off the mountain Friday afternoon and before you could turn around and swoop in, I went right or left at the fork. Both the Gorge and the Cherohala are very scenic at sunset...

Then after following a bluehair all the way through the gorge at sub-legal, once we hit 4-lane I turned it loose again and Mark radioed me about a NCHP XJ and dammit there I was in the left lane out in the wind again... with ya right on my 6! (my mirror are fuzzy) but you turned off and went south again.

Trooper XJ...the President owes you dinner, Sir or M'am.

Also a wave out to the big Green/Muddy XJ I saw both times around Morganton... (maybe two differrent, but I think it's same) I-40 Mile 91 going east on Fri eve and mile 98 going west on Sunday... Nice rig...ya should have been in Tellico!

And also a giant Flippoff to all the big TJ fawks (all over the US) who wont wave back...whaddya think you are too good? FAQ!!!

Glad to see everyone made it home okay! Had an awesome time as usual. I think I'm more amazed every time I go out at the abuse these things handle. Dang cuz, it's got me all flabbed up, right! I just hate having to leave. We all need to start up an offroad shop there and live and work there. Oh well, so when's the next run ?
