I bought the wrong stuff for my OBA project :o (I needed '87-'90 2.5L specific stuff, and I pulled all this off a '96 XJ).

factory Sanden compressor
compressor bracket
alternator bracket
idler pulley

If anyone needs it, I'll sell it for $50 + shipping (that was my cost for all of it from the junkyard)

Lemme know if anyone's interested, part or whole. I can't use any of it.

Thanks,
Jeff

If the AC compressor bracket is the same as a 99 (pretty sure it is) I'll take it. Let me know what you want for it with shipping to 97007. Thanks

You interested in the whole sheebang, or just the bracket? I'll do the whole works for $50, plus $10 for shipping. If you just want the bracket, $12 plus a couple bucks for shipping.

Hey, I'm looking for a AC compressor for my '96 XJ with 4.0L. Is it still available? If so, I'm game...how much to ship to San Diego (92107)? Pls shoot me an email at [email protected]. Thanks!

Sent you an e-mail.

Jon,
I can get the #'s off the compressor tonight, along with anything else you want/need. I pulled it off a '96 XJ, 4.0L.

Let me know what else you want...

Just the model number of the compressor will do - if it's the same thing that far up, that makes life a little easier for another kit I've got "under development..."

The compressor body top has "709T" cast into the center top. On the stick-on data sticker on the underside, it has "U4655" listed as a model number, and the Chryco part # listed is 5503 6697 (the first digit "5" is in italics because the label is smudged over that space and I'm taking a SWAG at what the digit is :)) But 55- is common prefix nomenclature for AMC/Chryco part numbers.

Hope that helps ya!

p.s. I haven't forgotten about those battery cables for my 2.5.....just had other priorites lately. I'm retrofitting an OEM compressor and alternator bracketry onto it this weekend for OBA (along with a new timing set), so I'll have everything torn apart, and will measure the cables then. I'll let you know what I need early next week. You need part #'s off this contraption? It's a factory compressor/alt bracket for '87-'90 2.5L with AC. I can get ya whatever ya need:D

There should be an ID plate stuck on the top of the compressor - but I probably have one around here that I can measure a few points on, and you can compare. I'm more interested in external dims than internal for what I've got in mind anyhow.

No need to hurry on the cables, either. Whenever you're ready suits me just fine...
