EZ Locker

I just got my EZ locker for Dana 35 non-c. The install directions are the worst I have ever seen. Anyone out there that has done one of these that can help me out?? There are very few parts, it does not look hard but I only want to have to do it once. Thanks!

I did not see anything in the instructions about the thrust washers, some web-pages say reuse them others, nothing. Included in the kit are 2 washers, shims I am asuming, its not a "C" clip axle, what about these?

I reused my thrush washers in both my Lockright and Aussie lockers. As far as I know these must be there for the locker to operate correctly. I have installed these lockers in both a non-c clip D35 and a D44.

Thanks, any idea about the washers or shims that came with the kit? Out of curiosity, what unit are you assigned to? I cant make out that patch.

I was looking at the Cherokee America web-page earlier. They installed the same EZ-Locker on the same vehicle. 88 XJ with 35 non-C rear end. Apparently, there is a lock pin not a retaining bolt in the earlier model. No reference given to the thrust washer or these shims that came with the kit.

My lockers didn't come with thrush washers, if they look the same as your original, they should work. I don't know for sure since i have had different lockers.
