Im in the process of changing my evap and heater core and noticed the new evap core doesnt have the hole for the capillary tube. Is it possible to bend the tube and put in the fins on the side? Or is bending it gonna cause major issues?

Thanks

I'm guessing you are talking about the thermostat feeler (or capillary tube). A bend is OK, a kink isn't. I usually use the side of my thumb to get a rounded bend. Even a slight kink is usually OK, if it doesn't close off the inside of the tube completely.

Avoid bending and straightening the tube too much. Metal fatigue can crack it. They are generally pretty forgiving and more durable than you'd think.
