It sure is riding lower since the day I brought it home.....good thing I should be fixing that next week with a lift :)

(still need to mount the solenoid box and hook it up......I need new battery terminals so I can hook up my new red top, too)
 
Looks good, I take it you don't like smashing roller fairleads into obstacles?
 
Thats my plan too. How much are you lifting it.
 
nice license plate mount!!! didnt know we could do that here in illinois. :D deff not where i live cops are strict cuz they have nothing to do since its a small town! haha state troopers deff wouldnt like that down here!!

Where are you located? The "down here" comment makes me curious with your location being IL. Just how far south are you?

Illinois law only states that is has to be visible from the front of the vehicle for a couple hundred feet. So there should be nothing illegal about my mount.

I checked the laws before mounting it up there ;)

if that is so then how come the plates cant be in the car on the dash like taped to the window i have seen kids here get busted by state troopers for having them in the the front windshield? just curious

they do have to be on the outside of the vehicle and can't have anything obstructing their view (I.E. windshields.....and even clear license plate covers are illegal)

ive been told by a statey that the clear covers are not allowed and a windshield would be wors with the reflections form the sun and the windshield is slightly tinted..

Randy looks like you have a good start keep up the good work..
by the way dont tell me thats a 99 expedition in light green( maybe even eddie bauer edition?) next to the jeep is it?
need to start looking at lifts..
