today, but I am mobile and starting a thread is a pita from my phone.

I will have to respectfully decline the nomination for president. I will be moving to colorado within a year and it makes no sense to me to induce that kind of chaos into the chapter mid term.

I will ask chris to post up our poll threads

Well I guess that leaves me in a bit of a pickle. As Standing president, with no one who wants to or is able to step up and take the reins so to speak I would be willing to hold this position for another year. I can't and won't leave the position vacant.

So instead of an election we have a series of unchallenged appointments.

I wonder if due to Ike for instance, and the rather short notice so far, if it might make sense to wait a month, or two to try and find some willing, qualified candidates. In other words lets rattle the trees and bushes (the ones still standing anyway) a while longer.

I second this, I mean half the vehicles in Colorado have Texas plates.
