YES i did a search but didnt find anywhere to purchase them. I NEED E-BRAKE EXTENDERS!!!! When im flexed out they look like there stretched so tight that they might snap!!
Can anyone lead me to a site or similar to price & order a set!!!

Thanks.

Are you refering to the actual cable. Go to your local auto part store and get a set of YJ passanger lines.

That's what I did, works great. Ran me about $18 each from the local auto parts store.

Also, if you need super long ones get a set of passanger side Bronco lines. They are a good bit longer than the YJ ones.

Wow, I can't imagine needing anything longer than the YJ lines, unless you were doing some custom linked setup with coilovers or something. My YJ lines were so long I had to cross them to take up some of the slack.

Good to know there are longer lines out there though if needed. :)

Didn't BIG-G get warned about this some weeks or months ago? I'm glad he listened

You have pretty U-bolts, Yucca. :sunshine:

So if you have a 97+ cherokee with the e-brake splitter bracket on the framerail, you can move the bracket back like on madxj.com, or what? does anyone know the correct different length per side cables to get for that application?

Well mine is a 95 with 4.5" lift and the e-brake cable is tight as hell when flexed out! SO all i have to do is go buy a pair of YJ cables and they will DIRECTLY fit on????

also the long side e-brake cable from a 76 f-150 is a great bolt in for a ford 9" swap and a e-brake line... though the short side is EXACTLY the same length as the XJ cable...

and im having trouble finding another long side 76 f-150 e-brake cable the same length as mine...

:rattle::rattle::rattle:

oh- and the ends of it are the same as the XJ and would work with a d35, dont know about the d44 or 8.265 though - never took thoes drums apart before...
and it is a tad shorter than the yj cable...
and a tighter fit in the holes on the body...

Yes I'm sitting at 6" and that is what I did.

Wow. I wonder if he's got the hint yet - I mean people only do writeups, post links and tell him what will work... and yet he still doesn't know?

Bump? Why? Look again on Page 1 of this thread - your answer is in there.

Yucca, please bear with me, but I'm obviously missing something! I have a 97 with the bracket on the siderail. If I buy a passenger and driver side from a YJ will the both be just a little longer than what I have now and bolt up directly to the chry8.25?

For 97+, your passenger side needs no lengthening (it already runs from the driver's side). You need (1) Passenger Side XJ E-Brake cable to replace your driver's side cable. Fit perfectly but working inside the brake drum is tedious work.

97+ passenger cable is so long you'll need to go from the driver's side to the top of the pumpkin before going back to the driver's side drum.

moving the bracket backwards doesn't help for flexing or lifts above a few inches.

PS also get zip ties. Anything else?
