Drivers door 1997

Ok, I'm pretty much over having to roll the window down and slam my door numerous times to get the damn pos to latch. Does anyone have Ny ideas or a fix. It is intermittent and I do not offload this thing (yet).

Is door sagging ?

oil it.

Reposition striker, probably needs to move farther out.

Not sagging, has been oiled. I am convinced it is something mechanical with the latch. Anyone know if the previous body style had the same latches?
