Driveline shops in the Everett/Seattle area?

I flexed the Jeep yesterday and was getting some binding...checked it out, and the drive shaft APPEARS to be fully extended when flexed...and I still have some left. So I'm trying to get an idea of what it runs to lengthen a drive shaft and schedule something once I confirm I need to.

With that, I've read a lot on here about people getting their drive shafts lengthened/balanced for under $100...but so far the couple shops I've called have quoted me over $150. Anyone know of someone who does decent work and doesn't cost a whole lot? I'm not having much luck looking online for shops who do this sort of stuff.

I'm really not looking to spend more than $100 on a drive shaft if I don't have to right now.

front or rear?

Best Drivelines. My buddy has had whole driveshafts made for his yota for like 150.

This guy quoted me just under $100.

I called him prior to the post but he didn't pick up...but he called me back an hour later.

Good news is, looks like I should be able to get away with my current drive shaft after re-measuring. I'll know more when my new shocks come in and I get a chance to flex out on the ramp in 4 wheel drive. I've been doing it in two, and I just can't quite compress the rear enough.

Thanks though everyone!

Yeah found some online that fit the bill and sounded like they should ship fast... we'll see.

Is it sad that it took me this long to realize your Jeep was flying in your avatar? :D:D:D

It's not flying, it's falling with style.
