Drift jeep? (mj)

hmm, while we're talking about drifting....

here's an idea....

use a 4wd MJ... put 4.88s in the front... 3.07s in the rear....

ride the gas hard so that the front tires pull you around and the rears are just spinning the whole time...

brilliant, I know.

Been there, done that.

Congratulations, you now have a dedicated U-joint crapping machine. ;)

Rain / winter snow + recent blacktopped parking lot/Clay horse pasture = fun.. but heck what do i know.. anyone ever seen a 4wd donut coming from a lifted truck/XJ? They look pretty darn cool i think.. But yeah even tho in wintertime all we did was waste gas drifting streets like the fast and the furious people.. drifting an XJ and taking it seroius = ghey

I have seen alot of mini trucks drifted. if built right they do damn good and i persobnaly think an mj lowered with stiffer rear suspinson a five speeed trans and rig up a pull handle ebrake it could work out great...just a mater of time and money ..i am gona be building an mj for drag racing ..gona stroke and superchrage a 4.0 stiffen up the rear end, add a cage, tub out the bed ,and stuff a narrowd 9ich rear in it with problly 4:10 gears .and add a posable 50-75 shot of juice lol..

I think it would be interesting to see, I'd try a stripped 4.0l 2wd XJ (or maybe a F/S GM or Dodge or Astro/Safai Van just to be different.) I would stick with the SRA since the low price, durability, relative light weight and consistant 0* camber could come in handy on a vehicle like this. I'd also try factory 16's (anything Jeep thats 5 on 4.5") with short (50 or 60 series), cheap, and hard tires.

As for the image, I guess there must be alot of gay dirt track drivers out there too..................................

LOL, drifting a jeep, maybe you will get a part in tokyo drift, LOL

Make sure to put a roll cage on that one too, so you can roll it more than once :)

LOL

who knows. it might be fun to take to my local drift event and see what it can do ;)

After all this talk, I am still amazed that Idaho has local drifting events :looser: :looney:

Are you kidding that Idaho has drifting events?? That's like having a couple rednecks from Kentucky in a rapping contest! :roflmao:
I will have to agree that drifting is lastara

My God, I've read it all. If you're wanting to relocate your e-brake....get a set-up from an XJ and go. That being said......

After you and your gay friends are done drifting and slapping hands telling each other how cool the other is and you end up queering each other in the bed of the MJ, maybe you'll realize how truly lastara it is. Did you expect to not to get flamed?

Using queer as a verb, that's pretty good, I hadn't heard that before.

Drifting: Definition=Homosexual slang term for a multiple partner sexual encounter that includes sliding the drifter on the floor while attached to the driver...

BTT for the imagination impaired:

This would be a pre-drift inspection I guess

dude, weld the rear axle solid, cut the front coils, and put short narrow tires on it. it'll work.

WITH RAINBOW FLAMES ON THE HOOD!
