Draken Offroad

You should post up pics of the "un-building"

Tried flexing it

Rear was very very flexy, pretty much just flipped over to one side
The front just leaned it didn't really flex

Then I got on flat blacktop and held te brake and stepped on the gas, the hole suspension twisted something fierce then it never settled back down, I got out to find that the rear spring ha dislocated and instead of returning its original position it got caught on the perch as seen here

i noticed a lack of deck railing in your jackstand technique, see ken for safety guidelines

Started to strip the mounts off the front axle with a grinder

This one on the front driver coil bucket and anther one on the "truss" just popped off with a crowbar

Also on the insdenofnthe trac bar mount on of the welds wasn't even touching the axle tube

i would have your axles checked for trueness...who knows how that truss was welded on there. i hope they didn't warp them with their sweet welding technique

The axles better bit be warped, they are goin down to Tennessee for Ian to use on the jeep they are doing for me.

no.

Ian worked out a deal with some shops they work with. there will be a build on pirate iirc.

He's also working with some magazines to make it happen.

Ian has been really cool. I'm pretty lucky to have him and his guys helping me out.

In looking for a new clean unmolested xj now.

My neighbor has a clean stock 01 for sale, and I'm selling my 00 if your looking for a donor

Introducing what should be the new XJ! My buddy in NC found it. Rust free 98, 4.0 AW4, 231.

He put a down payment to hold it and I have a check in the mail to him.
