For those of you looking for my old thread it has been deleted as per my request.

I met with the owner today and he made it right, we worked a private deal between the two of us, and I am happy with the outcome.

So lets not bash him at all, bottom line is he made it right.
 
When my next Xj is done we can all go to rausch together and that night at camp ill provide the beer (within reason) and everyone can make fun of me haha
 
Good news.
Is he doing the work or is another shop?
New rig or "repair" the old one?
And as always; this thread is worthless without pictures. :)

The Xj is not worth fixing. I will be buying a new one.

Not saying the end result was perfect but I can live with it.

Lesson learned
 
My next Xj project is a secret haha, but no not Draken.
 
I am seriously disappointed in the fact that you are covering up the fact that this company took advantage of you. I understand that you think you are doing the right thing but I want you to think about others that may be taken advantage of by this guy and his business. I know that theddecision to keep this under wraps is solely yours but if the naxja brotherhood is as tight as the ck5 brotherhood I'm part of its your responsibility to make sure that the same thing doesn't happen to others.

I completely understand that, a ton of damage was already done, as part if the deal I agreed to delete threads I had started. There are plenty out there that i did not start. Would I personally suggest then to anyone? No not after my experience. But I'm a man of my word hence the previous thread was deleted.

Sorry if it makes anyone mad but that's a concession I agreed to make and It wouldn't be right for me to go back on my word.
 
That agreement sounds like one final **** you from the shop
 
word on the street is Ian from extreme 4x4 and essentially offroad are getting to play with the new rig.



oops were we supposed to keep that a secret?

Sucks that this happened, glad you're getting it resolved, but it sounds like you essentially signed a gag order.
 
so are we not supposed to post that Draken Offroad is a shit company that ****ed this guy over while he was deployed?
 
I don't think he's come on to explain why they did what they did
