doors

If your driving down the road and open the door you get an instant DW!! And if you dont, jump out the car and see if the loss of weight causes one :)

Yeah... that's what everyone is saying...jump out of your XJ. Go ahead.

Boy, I guess that means all those people should stop flat towing immediately since there's no weight holding down the front seat.

I sometimes drive my '92 to the trails at highway speeds with no doors or rear hatch by myself and have yet to have DW.

My 88 had DW once because of the steering stabilizer and bad tires but I promptly fixed that, and it wasn't by gaining weight.

I had no idea there was a minimum weight limit to drive an XJ.

okie....

I can tighten my turning radius while wheeling by simply tugging on one of the mirrors real hard.....if I wanna turn left more, I tug on my left mirror, if I wanna turn right real hard, I tug on my right mirror.......kinda like riding a horsie.........

try it sometime.

I find it easier to push the left mirror forward to turn tighter to the right then to lean over and pull the right mirror back.

And the doors tie into the front suspension where?

They don't, of course. Must have something to do with changing the weight distribution on the front axle ...

Either that, or it's a function of impaired aerodynamic laminar flow (the XJ with doors installed is such a masterpiece of aerodynamic design, ya know)
